Brothers Fred and William Ritter were regular advertisers in Strength and Health magazine in the 1930s, selling pictures of themselves and other gym members who would voulnteer to be photographed.
Later in his life younger brother Fred moved to Hollywood and became a cinematographer and special effects artist in the 50s.
