David loves all out- door sports. Went into our cold swimming pool when no one else would have considered it. Claims he wrestled a shark in Miami, but he may be giv- en to some exag- gerations.
Says he learned plumbing at college and earns his living this way when all else fails.
David would like to be a stunt man in films, which is he particularly well a- dapted for being built solid from the ground up. Loves horseback riding and motorcycle racing and doesn’t ap- pear to be afraid of anything. An excellent choice for the US Mar- ine Corps, let’s hope he doesn’t get shot up in Viet Nam!
One of David’s fa- vorite sports is wrestling, and we had plan- ned to do a wrestling \fi Im with him, but his co-star took one look at Dave and refused to let himself be massacred!

3 Thoughts to “David O’Boyle by AMG”

  1. Bad boy O’Boyle is a classic heartthrob! David posed for Mizer during the mid-to-late 1960s. He was featured in both black-and-white studio portraiture and color transparency shoots at the West 3rd Street compound in L.A., as well as in short film reels. One of David’s most notable magazine appearances was in “Physique Pictorial” April 1967. This issue is famous among collectors because it featured artwork by both Tom of Finland and Harry Bush. David embodied Mizer’s favorite aesthetic: the charismatic, slightly mischievous bad ass. From what I understand, Mizer preferred models who brought a bit of rough-around-the-edges swagger to the camera over formal bodybuilders. Alas, who knows what became of him?
